Finally decided to take the plunge and retire this January. Still working in the same old place. My son has given us a new Grand-daughter. Bob and I are enjoying retirement. We have 10 Grandkids and two adorable dogs Rosie & Puddles. We bought a home in Sun City West, AZ and spend 6 months there and 6 months here. We enjoy playing pickle ball and Bob enjoys golfing. Looking forward to seeing all of our awesome classmates. [July2016]

I can't believe that it's going to be our 45th Class Reunion! Where have all the years gone? I am looking forward to seeing our fellow classmates and sharing our life experiences! I realized that life really begins at the age of 62 because I finally married the Love Of My Life, on October 12th, 2010. We were married at the Flamingo Hotel in the Chapel surrounded by family, our kids and some good friends. We had a great time and never did win any money! We purchased a place in Sun City West, Arizona in March of this year and looking forward to spending the Winters there and Bob is looking forward to more golfing time with his buddies! I still haven't learned the game but looking forward to giving it a try. There is so much to do in Arizona and we have a lot to look forward to. We made a few friends when we were visiting there for six weeks and hope to make more when we are finally wintering there! I just retired in September of 2010 and already spoiled and love not waking up to an alarm clock. We can see the kids anytime we want and that is a bonus! [Aug2011]

Bob and I got married at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas On October 12th, 2011. Our kids were all there and some of our friends! We had a great time...but didn't win any money! Bob and I have been friends for years. We grew up together in the Arsenal Courts and had a lot of fun times and hung around with the same friends! We even lived in South Rock Island on the same street when were were married but never really saw each other. Once they moved I didn't see him until 2001 at an Arsenal Courts reunion! We saw each other again in 2009 at an Arsenal Courts reunion in August! We all finally decided that we would meet monthly since their were so many years that had passed and we were all getting older. Here we are married and both retired and loving it. Bob golfs a lot when possible and I shop, work in the yard and lots of misc. things. My friends and I go out to lunch once a week and have a lot of fun just being together.

We have seven kids and their spouses and nine grandkids between us. They are all adorable and a lot of fun. Two of mine have been living in Ohio for five years but are moving back on July 28th and we are so happy. Bob's son is getting married in October to a beautiful person Maggie who we all love. We recently bought a place "Casita" in Sun City West and looking forward to spending the Winters there, and Bob will continue to golf with his friends. He has a passion for golfing and I still haven't learned but that's my goal! Bob already has some good friends there and I made a couple myself. Life is good and so is our health! I am looking forward to seeing our fellow classmates and hearing all about them and their families at the reunion. [July2011]

At last I am a Grandmother. My grandson, Charlie, was born in November 2014. I am so happy and of course, he is the cutest little boy ever. Unfortunately, they live in Los Angeles so I don't get to do the baby sitting that I would like to do, but my daughter-in-law is wonderful and sends me pictures weekly. My sons are now 36, 35, 32, and 28. My 32-year-old lives with me and is planning on attending Pharmacy school next fall. I wish I had something interesting to say about myself, but I'm just getting old along with the rest of you. I am actively participating in a group called Pilot Club, which raises money to distribute to other non-profits in the area. I also continue to volunteer with Table to Table, a food rescue organization in Iowa City. I live with my Weimaraner and Standard Poodle on a lot that continues to be very demanding of my attention. I am blessed with good health and most of my mind. I look forward to seeing many classmates at the 50th Reunion. [Sept2016]

I am still collecting stereo view cards, View-Master reels, Tru-Vue film strips, etc., and still doing stereo photography. Now I am using the new Fuji Fine Pix Real 3D W3 digital camera for most of my picture taking. I have also gotten interested in garden railroading. I have various pieces of equipment (locomotives, rolling stock) and track for a large loop which I occasionally set up on top of the ground. I don't as yet have a permanent layout, but hope to put one in next spring or summer. [July2011]
