Mrs. L. Bradley Grubbs, 450 E. 7th St. Ct., Milan, was pronounced dead on arrival at 9 last night at St. Anthony's Hospital, Rock Island.
Funeral services will be at 1 Saturday afternoon in the Bethel Assembly of God, Rock Island. The Rev. Dale Edwards will officiate, and burial will be in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Moline. Friends may call at the Knox-Larson Funeral Home, in Rock Island. A memorial fund is being established in Mrs. Grubbs' name.
The former Barbara Jean Rush was born Sept. 9, 1948, in Moline. She had lived in Rock Island most of her life, in Chicago for a short time, in Moline after her marriage, and in Milan the past month.
She attended Rock Island public schools. She was married to Mr. Grubbs May 14, 1966, in Rock Island. Mrs. Grubbs was a member of Bethel Assembly of God.
Surviving are the widower; a son, Brian Lee, at home; her mother, Mrs. James Rush, Fort Smith, Ark.; and a sister, Mrs. Gene (Linda) Miller, Milan.
