Jane Neice Stephens

Peace came to Jane Stephens on December 19, 2008.  Jane was born September 12, 1948 in Moline, Illinois.  A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt, Jane will dearly be missed by us all.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Leah Neice.  Jane is survived by husband, Blake Stephens; children, Jeffrey Lee and wife, Jill, Jason Lee, Ryan Stephens and wife, Leslie, and Lindsey Gray and husband, Matthew; granddaughter Logan Lee; father, David Neice; brothers, Michael Neice and wife, Kris, and David Neice and wife, Monica; numerous nieces and nephews.

Her untimely passing will forever leave a void in the lives of those who loved her.  Jane generously dedicated her life without reservation to her children and family.  She touched the lives of many while volunteering in the community and at church. She was adored by those who knew her because of her warm and caring personality.  Jane was a ray of sunshine in the life of everyone she knew.  Those that were lucky enough to have been blessed by having her in their lives know she was truly an angel here on earth.  We know she is now in Heaven and will forever watch over those she loved.  Jane we will forever miss you and your beautiful smile.  Everytime the sun shines it's warmth down upon us we will be reminded of your love.  We hope you have a wonderful time in Heaven.  Until we meet again.

The family will begin receiving friends at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2008, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  A private interment will be at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jane's name to Alzheimer's Association or the Make A Wish Foundation (www.wish.org).
