Linda K. Boniger, 65, of Lenexa, KS, passed away November 11, 2013 surrounded by family and friends at Kansas City Hospice.
Visitation will be held at 10am Thursday, November 14, at Lenexa Baptist Church, 15320 West 87th Street, Lenexa, KS 66219, followed by a memorial service at 11:00am.
Linda was born July 16, 1948, in Fort Dodge, IA. She was raised in Rock Island, Illinois where she graduated from Rock Island High School in 1966. She fell in love with her 8th grade sweetheart and married James B. Boniger on December 20, 1966. During their 47 years of marriage, she dedicated herself to her family, friends and the Lord. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, and best friend to many. She lived her "dash" doing what pleased her most, being an ear for a friend, a shoulder for tears, and always had a hug for everyone. She was a mentor, a teacher and stood strong in her faith.
She was met in Heaven by her daughter Laura Boniger-Woll, her granddaughter McKenzie Woll, & her mother and father Pearl and Val Figgins.
Linda is survived by her husband James B. Boniger, and two daughters Trish Boniger and Cindy Sampson, sister Sandy Spoltman-Thiele, brother Gary Figgins, and six grandchildren; Jerrad Woll, Stephan Woll, Caden Sampson, Abbey Sampson, Alonzo Boniger, and Melanie Dominick.
Linda was loved deeply, and will be greatly missed.
