Daniel E. Denton, 45, Moline, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 1993, at Trinity Medical Center, East Campus, Moline.
Services are 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Milan. Burial is in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island.
Visitation is 8:30 p.m. Friday at Wheelan Funeral Home, Rock Island, with a wake service at 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Illinois Heart Association.
Mr. Denton was born Oct. 14, 1948, in Moline, the son of the late Elbert R. and Harriet A. Wilcox Denton.
He was a graduate of Black Hawk College and the former Marycrest College, Davenport, with a Bachelor's Degree in computer science.
He joined Nomura Enterprises, Inc., Rock Island, in March 1991 as a systems analyst. He was also an instructor at Commonwealth Business College, Moline. In earlier years, he was employed by the Rock Island Railroad.
He was a member of the Black Hawk Aquarium Society.
He enjoyed sports.
Survivors include a daughter, Shannon Leigh Hoss, Davenport; a grandson; his mother, Milan; and a sister, Kathy Denton, Milan.
